Are you enthusiastic about the potential of business intelligence and its application in enabling data-driven decision making?
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative individual to lead the Intelligence and Performance team.
The Intelligence and Performance team are a forward thinking, aspirational team which plays a key role in the delivery of Thurrock\'s Housing service with responsibilities including data collection, system reporting, data analytics, the provision of business intelligence and performance reporting. The team is embedded within the Housing service and works alongside service teams across all disciplines of housing.
To be successful in this role you will need a passion for data, data analytics and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in Housing, have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, significant experience in the use of specialised business intelligence software (Microsoft Power BI), experience in developing and delivering business intelligence products, experience fostering and embedding a data culture within an organisation and experience measuring and reporting on performance across multiple disciplines and specialisms.
