Integration Engineer- BESS/Solar

About the role:

Astute\'s Renewables team is partnering with a leading energy service provider who specialises in providing a range of EPC services including the development, construction, and operation of solar power plants within the renewable industry. They are recruiting for an Integration Engineer to work remotely.

The strategically important Integration Engineer role comes with a salary of up to \xc2\xa356,906, pension contribution, and hybrid working option.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Head of Project Management you will:

\xc2\xb7 Provide the critical link between the delivery and engineering teams to ensure smooth transition of key project information.

\xc2\xb7 Take a significant role in preparing key Solar PV and/or BESS design elements and functional specifications, including: SLD\'s, inverter and transformer sizing, cable sizing and routing, communications and networking, interconnection to ICP works etc.

\xc2\xb7 Management of third-party consultants for design review, industry standard guidance and quality management services.

\xc2\xb7 Support the preparation of project tender information. Additionally, prepare subcontractor or suppliers\' specifications and scope of works for contracting including component selection.

\xc2\xb7 Provide support and oversight for project commissioning and completion of contractual performance testing. Identify necessary resources and ensure supplier and subcontractor commissioning is completed in line with contractual requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Contribute to and maintain all required project documentation including as built for operational handover.

\xc2\xb7 Identify and escalate any risks to budget, programme, or quality to Senior Management.

\xc2\xb7 Support Project Managers with preparation of progress reports, project timelines and budget management.

\xc2\xb7 Provide support and mentorship to wider Engineering team to increase familiarity with Solar PV technologies.

Professional qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following:

\xc2\xb7 Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification with demonstratable Solar PV/BESS experience.

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Renewable Energy technologies in the UK is mandatory.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with E: Plan, PVSyst, AutoCAD or equivalent software is a plus.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient IT skills. Familiarity with MS Office suite. Experience of MS Project, Jira and Confluence a plus.

Personal skills:

The Senior Submarine Structures Engineer role would suit someone who has:

\xc2\xb7 Self-starter with commitment to self-development and passion for renewable energy.

\xc2\xb7 Flexible - the role will require some international travel staying overnight or longer.

\xc2\xb7 Desire to work in an international Company.

Salary and benefits of the Senior Submarine Structures Engineer role:

\xc2\xb7 Salary of up to \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 (DOE).

\xc2\xb7 Remote working

\xc2\xb7 Car allowance negotiable

\xc2\xb7 Pension contribution
