Instrument Landing Systems Engineer - Christchurch

We have a great opportunity to join a large Defence business, working within the IT and Engineering team. The role is based in Christchurch with hybrid working. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO THIS LOCATION.

The role will require you to be eligible for security clearance. To be eligible for security clearance, you must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.

What you\'ll be doing:
\xc2\xb7Analysing and allocating specification requirements
\xc2\xb7Writing specifications
\xc2\xb7Reliability analysis and prediction
\xc2\xb7Maintainability analysis and prediction
\xc2\xb7Planning and running maintainability/testability demonstrations - including generation of plans & reports
\xc2\xb7Preparation of Logistic Information Repository (LIR) / Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR)
\xc2\xb7Preparation of ILS plans, analysis reports and associated documentation
\xc2\xb7Preparation of ILS bid documentation
\xc2\xb7Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA)
\xc2\xb7Spares and repairs modelling
\xc2\xb7You\'ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role

Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
\xc2\xb7Experience undertaking Reliability & Maintainability analysis and prediction (RM&T) and planning and running maintainability & testability demonstrations
\xc2\xb7Preparation of Logistic Information Repository (LIR) and Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) and Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA) and Production or support in preparing ILS documentation and Technical Publications
\xc2\xb7Use of engineering methodologies, tools and processes, Spares and Repairs modelling

Desirable:
\xc2\xb7Familiarisation of commercial IT, including servers, networking appliances and infrastructure equipment and hardware integrating & ruggedisation into Land Platforms and Export Control and ITAR
\xc2\xb7CAD experience / familiarity
