We are seeking an Art & Design Instructor to be based at our Portree centre.
The successful candidate will provide structured training to students using av ariety of approaches to enable them to meet the standards required. Carrying out assessments to the standards set by the industry/awarding body, maintaining accurate assessment records, evaluating student performance and achievement, making recommendations and highlighting support needs as appropriate are also requirements of the role.
The ideal candidate will hold an industry related qualification combined with recent, relevant industry experience. Experience as a trainer / instructor is desirable.
Successful candidates must be good communicators who are self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and work independently.
