As a Insite Manager (Store Purchasing Manager) you will be a pivotal part of the team, and its success so get ready to be in demand. We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our Insite's in the Northamptonshire area and are looking for an ambitious and dynamic person to take charge of our Engineering Spares Stores service at this well-known major player in the Food sector. Your role will be to develop the business by capitalising on profitable sales opportunities whilst ensuring excellent customer care working practices are maintained from the stores and that the customer's expectations are exceeded whenever possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the site in sourcing (Stock/Non-Stock) items in line with the customer's requirements and demands.
Supporting consistent delivery of agreed levels of customer service within the stores across both inventory and purchasing.
Taking responsibility for a junior member of staff within the stores
Delivering unit cost reduction savings against previous suppliers and OEM.
Supporting customer site personnel with enquiries and problems.
Arrange site visits with preferred supply partners to help us identify and assist with all value-added activities.
A proactive approach, looking for profitable opportunities on site liaising with all departments.
Key Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Self-driven and motivated to see each assigned task through to the end.
Worked in a similar purchasing or stores management role and able to demonstrate transferable skills.
Experience of staff management or a good understanding of what is required to lead a small team
Keen to develop product knowledge and industry awareness
