Requirements:
2-3 years of experience within a customer-interfacing role
Active listening and problem solving skills
Ideally be a "champion" in all customer service related processes
An excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and project management skills.
Quick learner with ability to adapt to and implement new procedures
Demonstrated proactive and positive approach to problem resolution

Where you will be working?
It's a hybrid role with some travel, working in our new purpose-built facility in Witchford, Ely as well as your home. Our purpose-built facility is just 12 miles from Cambridge, within the beautiful mediaeval city of Ely. There are train and bus links to Ely from Kings Cross and Liverpool Street London, and our site is within distance of Ely train station and Ely Bus station.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be the main contact for our key customers in all segments (scientific, industrial, OEM, channel partner), support them with all administrative sales related tasks (pre and post sales).
Work closely with Customer development and tech sales teams ensuring that the customers' specific needs are consistently met.
Develop a deep understanding of the customers administrative purchasing requirements and proactively offer solutions to streamline processes (e.g. EDI connections, punchout catalogs, invoicing processes).
Inquire internally about sales prices for repeat specials and high volume pricing (planner)
Project management for long terms sales agreement, proper documentation in CRM.
Follow up with key OEM customers prior ending of their frame contracts, proactively generate follow-up business
Systems quoting/negotiation for administrative requirements of purchasing process
New Lead qualification and opportunity account management, Follow up with customers on large quote inquiries > 15k
Work in CRM to handle key customer projects and ensure smooth interfacing to other departments
Anticipate and proactively manage customer needs to prevent escalation
Effectively communicate and coordinate with our global offices to fulfil customer requests
Provide value added administrative after sales service to our key customers, ensuring their purchasing needs have been fulfilled.
