Infrastructure Engineer - is required on a permanent basis for a globally expanding organisation in the FinTech space. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for the VMware platform and storage systems that host all of the companies applications and internal systems and become a key part of the VMware Migration into AWS Cloud environment.
This covers all aspects from the initial design and Architecture of the platform through implementations, maintenance/ support, and planning for future requirements. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you can expect to receive the following package:

• Basic salary of up to \xc2\xa370,000

Your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of but will not be limited to:

• Applying patches and updates to software and hardware components of the VMware platforms
• Monitoring of the VMware platforms and resolving any issues
• Planning and scheduling any changes to the VMware platform
• Providing and supporting tools for other teams to utilise the VMware and monitoring/ Alerting platforms
• Ensuring the VMware environments meets the PCI security requirements
• Collaboration and communication with other Infrastructure teams
• Travel to data centres when required
• Assist with and follow the on-going Cloud Migration

• Dell Server Hardware (PowerEdge)
• Dell Storage Hardware (PowerVault and SC Series)
• Good understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Scripting languages (PowerShell)
• Monitoring solutions configuration and customization
• Some Networking knowledge
• Good understanding of AWS and Cloud Technologies
