Job Description
:
Information management and compliance in SIB covers coordinating the provision of Information Management and IT support to staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; managing data protection, managing Freedom of Information requests, risk management, cybersecurity, and monitoring and tracking information.
Purpose of role
- Ensure appropriate support is provided to SIB by ITAssist and the TEO Digital Systems unit.
- To support the CEO in ensuring that SIB fulfils its responsibilities under information and data protection legislation.
- To advise the CEO on compliance, data protection, cyber security and risk management and provide support and advice to colleagues and the SIB Board
- Management of the Information and Compliance function including line management of the Records Manager.
