At HVP Security Shutters Ltd we are always on the lookout for people who have what it takes to be a roller shutter engineer. The 'what it takes' is a person who is committed to working as part of a team, is good at working with their hands and prepared to undertake training which will also involve written examinations. We actively encourage completing an NVQ level 2, and other external qualifications.

Many people entering the roller shutter/door industry progress over time taking on a variety of job roles becoming senior managers or specialists in certain aspects of the trade - the financial rewards are there too.

Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm but we do travel which brings with it the opportunity to earn overtime. A typical salary range for an experienced installer who is happy to travel is 37,000 to 46,000 per annum.

Starting salary depends on many factors, such as experience, ability to take a lead role and work without supervision, qualifications, willingness to work away. Note: if you are requested to work away it generally only averages a night or two per month.

Candidate will be given branded work-ware and an allowance for non-branded work-ware. Specialist tools including all electrical power tools and an allowance for replacement of own tools.
