Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of industrial door systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and other team members to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

Installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors, steel doors, high-speed doors, roller shutters, and sectional doors Occasionally working on loading bays, dock levelers, dock shelters, buffers, wheel guides, traffic light systems, and sectional doors Performing basic electrical wiring tasks Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment Working on a call out rota

Skills

Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Familiarity with safety regulations related to industrial installations is advantageous. Previous experience in a similar role or industry is desirable but not essential.
CSCS, IPAF desirable but not essential

A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Door-to-door pay

Overtime pay at 1.5 and 2.0 rates, with travel paid at overtime rates
