The Job

A multi-national business seek are looking to recruit for an Indirect Buyer to join the on a permanent fulltime basis in Gloucester (hybrid working).

Joining a large-scale international business this role will join an established procurement division which huge opportunity for personal career progression for indirect spends covering a wide range of categories.

Indirect Buying experience would be advantageous and not essential, the hiring manager would be open to considering someone studying towards CIPS OR an experienced direct Buyer with an understanding/awareness of RFQ\'s/Tendering process looking to develop their career within Indirect Procurement.

Role - Indirect Buyer

Type - Permanent position

Salary - \xc2\xa330,000-\xc2\xa340,000 + benefits

Location - Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Key responsibilities for Indirect Buyer job role and not limited to:

• Negotiate contract and implement including Supplier Selection
• Develop RFQ\'s and Tenders
• Develop cost reduction including spend analysis leveraging group spends
• Supplier relationship management
• Provide support in developing and implementing Category strategies with Category Manager

Key skills and experience required for Indirect Buyer role and not limited to:

• Proven experience as a Buyer, either direct or indirect procurement
• Supplier relationship management
• Cost reduction activities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
