Independent Reviewing Officer

Job Description
We are looking to recruit an Independent Reviewing Officer within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role has a supportive team culture and a supportive management team. This is a great opportunity to join a team within Bradford Council.
Main duties include:
- Chairing looked after children and young people\'s reviews
- Ensuring the Care Plan is SMART and being delivered.
- Quality assurance, monitoring and auditing role.
- Someone who will actively work to improve and maintain the quality of care for all our children and young people.
- Someone who can apply strong and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, research and Government policies in their work.
- Someone who has the skills to involve the children and young people in their Reviews and Care Planning, as well as involving the carers, professional network and their parents and family members.
- Chairing complex multi-agency procedures
- Chairing LAC reviews or Child Protection conferences
- Safeguarding for Children & Young People
- Liaising with other professionals
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
For this Independent Reviewing Officer, you will need to have a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: BA Hons, BSc, DIPSW, CCETSW.
