Responsibilities:
As a Digital Programme Officer in Ceredigion County Council, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive programme of digital projects aimed at enhancing public services and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various digital initiatives, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the council. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge digital solutions. Key responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
In addition to project management, the Digital Programme Officer will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of digital transformation within the organisation. This includes advocating for the adoption of new technologies, identifying training and support to staff, and continuously evaluating the impact of digital projects on service delivery and strategic delivery.
Requirements:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant field, such as:
Digital Technology / Information Technology
Business Administration
Computer Science
Project Management
Or 5 years' experience
In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language.
A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.

Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams. Our service is responsible for the following functions:
Civil Registration: Birth, deaths and marriages.
Corporate Customer Services: Blue badge; Contact centre; Mailroom and scanning; Receptions.
ICT and Information Management: Archives and modern records; ICT support; Infrastructure and security; Project and application support; Reprographics, Technical support, Software development.
