We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our Chemicals & Materials team in London, United Kingdom.

Our analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients\xe2\x80\x99 business through involvement in all facets of investment banking activities including equity and debt offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers, and acquisitions, leveraged buy outs and strategic advisory work. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain financial models

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the preparation of marketing materials

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the creation of business valuation and financial projections and models

\xc2\xb7 Data gathering and synthesis

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain industry-specific business development books

\xc2\xb7 Conduct industry and company-specific research

\xc2\xb7 Interact with clients and senior stake holders

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent (2:1 or above)

Additional requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 2 years Investment Banking / Corporate Finance experience

\xc2\xb7 Strong modelling skillset (LBO & DCF)

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of financial statements

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

\xc2\xb7 Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships and rapport

\xc2\xb7 Motivated, team player with a desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously

\xc2\xb7 Positive work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential
