Job Description

Teligent Ltd is a multi-disciplined consultancy practice working within the Telecoms sector. Working for all the major mobile network operators, we provide a range of services including Property Acquisition and Management, Planning, Design and Construction as well as Network Management and Optimisation Services.

We are looking for experienced IC & I Field Engineers to join our expanding business. Candidates will work in a considerate and dedicated team that strive to get the job done to the highest of standards.

The successful candidate must: -



Work closely with all teams on site to ensure site is completed within build time.

Complete all relevant site pre & post work paperwork.

Ensure all site pre checks are completed by BO RAN team before completing any work.

Have a strong understanding of site deployment and ensure site is installed as per deployment paperwork and any variations captured and approved by the client.

Complete DC power installation to a high standard with a sound knowledge of DC testing and completing DC test Certificates. DC competency certification is essential to be able to carry out any DC installations. (We will provide this training)

Once a site has been integrated a strong understanding of customer test call procedures is essential to ensure site is working correctly.

You will be required to trouble shoot any issues on site with the assistance of back-office RAN team and rigging teams on site to ensure all site issues are cleared before leaving site.

Ensure all external alarms are tested before leaving site.

Monitor site progress and report any delays which may impact site completion dates.

Ensure all PPE, tools and equipment you are using on site have relevant certification, are rated for the task you are performing and any equipment deemed unfit for use to be reported to SHEQ manager and replaced.

Understand, promote and comply with Teligent's QA, Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures

The successful candidate



Demonstrated experience within a similar role within the UK Telecommunications industry (essential)

Previous 'working at heights' certification and experience (Desirable)

Trained first aid, RF awareness, rooftop safety

Manual handling and Asbestos awareness trained

Strong understanding of SHEQ legislation and best practice

Demonstrated experience of previous site installation and commissioning

Working knowledge of CDM Regulations & British Standards

Sound problem solving sills with the ability to confidently resolve issues in a timely manner

Flexible & professional approach to work

Self-motivated, confident & organised

Ability to handle heavy workload & competing priorities
