Dale Farm Cooperative is a UK dairy farmer co-operative owned by over 1200 dairy farmers who supply us with fresh milk. Hygiene Operative




As a Hygiene Operative you will play a key role in ensuring that a clean and hygienic environment is maintained in office spaces, staff canteen, staff changing and toilet areas. Your excellent attention to detail will ensure that high hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Quality & Technical Management Team


Location:

Ash Manor, Wrexham


Work Pattern:

25 hours per week (Monday - Friday 6am - 11am/7am - 12 noon)





Key Responsibilities:



Sweep, mop and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors/employees. Dusting and polishing surfaces to maintaining hygiene standards and ensure all surfaces are free of clutter and debris Sanitise and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and countertops. Empty trash bins and replace liners promptly. Disposing of rubbish in an appropriate manner Cleaning glass partitions, mirrors Perform deep cleaning assignments on a scheduled basis. Use the appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for specific surfaces, following safety protocols. Clean and maintain staff changing and toilet areas, ensuring they are fully stocked with essential supplies.

Maintenance and Reporting:



Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners. Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, stored properly, and in good working condition after each use. Identify and report any maintenance issues, needed repairs or cleaning supply requests to Quality & Technical Management Team for resolution. Replenish cleaning supplies after each shift.

Adherence to Safety Standards:



Adhering to company safety policies and procedures, including proper handing of cleaning chemicals and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain awareness of COSHHsafety standards and contribute towards a zero-incident workplace.

Previous experience in a similar role Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and on own initiative as well as part of a team Excellent organisation and communication skills Familiar with cleaning products and cleaning equipment Proficiency in following health and safety protocols Flexibility to adapt to changing cleaning priorities
