A very exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Bolton Council. The position offers flexibility like nowhere else in a very stable service rated Good by Ofsted. This is a standard CP/CIN/Safeguarding position with a competitive hourly rate of \xc2\xa337ph and an average manageable caseload of 20-24.

Responsabilities:

• Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children
• Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs
• Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
• Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings
• Initiating and implementing Child Protection Plans
• Completion of Care Proceedings
• Applying for and obtaining Emergency Protection Orders
• Organising/managing packages of care
• Preparing and presenting case conference reports
• Completing/reviewing/implementing CIN plans
• Chairing Children in Need meetings
• Attending court and giving evidence when required

Note: Duty is one day a week for 5 weeks with the 6th week being off.
