HVAC Technician

This is a day role working Monday- Friday 8-4 based at our Prudhoe Site.

About the Role

As a HVAC technician you will form part of the Site Services team based at the Prudhoe site in Northumberland. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for fully understanding and complying with all site safety standards and be accountable for the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment across site, so that production priorities are met, and the equipment performs to its optimum capability in base condition.

What You Will Do

Define, plan, perform and document planned maintenance activities, utilising the SAP maintenance management system.

Respond to breakdown of equipment within designated areas and perform fault finding, diagnose faults, organise internal / external resources, source parts and rectify faults to meet production requirements.

Utilise the site building management system (BMS)

Liaise with internal customers to plan work around operational requirements.

Liaise with external contractors, defining scope of works and planning / supervising site activities

Procure equipment and services from external suppliers.

Co-ordinate installation and commissioning.

Manage and supervise contractors, reviewing of risk assessments and method statements, completing permits and isolations of equipment.

Supporting the project engineers with AHU overhauls and replacements

Who You Are

Time served technician in HVAC background or similar.

Experience in hands on Multi skilled HVAC role in an industrial environment.

IT literate.

Experience in implementing, planning, and executing small scale projects.

SAP CMMS knowledge desirable not essential
