An opportunity has arisen within our HR department to provide a comprehensive and pro-active generalist HR advisory service to managers and employees.
Broxtowe Borough Council has around 650 employees, which includes a wholly-owned Leisure company and the HR team deal with all employment-related matters from recruitment to retirement and everything in-between. This opportunity will enable the right candidate to assist with the delivery of a progressive Human Resources support in a large organisation that serves the public.
You'll be expected to manage a caseload and portfolio of work and assist Managers and employees with comprehensive HR advice on a daily basis. You'll be working alongside the HR & Apprenticeships Officer and Learning & Development Administrator, and would report to the HR Manager, assisting with the day-to-day service provision to our internal departments.
The role will take a lead on wellbeing, equality, diversity and neurodiversity programmes including supporting the Council's continued development of it's Disability Confident Leader status and Mental Health activities.
This would be a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop their HR career, wanting to gain more experience in generalist HR or is CIPD qualified.
