What you need to know about the role
As the HR Manager for the Liberty Pipes Hartlepool, you will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with the Works Manager in particular, you will provide a professional generalist HR service covering key areas including:
Strategy & Planning
Employee Training
Organisational Assessment & Design
Talent Management & Development
Employee Engagement
Organisational Change
Reward & Recognition
Policy Development
What we need to know about you
The role is very autonomous and will suit those with a proactive approach to their work and the ability to identify and deliver improvements.
In addition to the above, we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience and a strong practical application of skills in HR casework including discipline, grievance, performance and absence management with experience of working within a manufacturing environment with trade union recognition.
You will have a high level of self-motivation and be able to work independently and decisively. You will also have strong communication skills and an ability to forge strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher, supported by a degree level qualification.
