Purpose and Function of Post
Provide a support role within the Organisational Development Department, to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of a full range of human resources related services for the organisation.
Responsible for providing first line HR advice to managers and staff and ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively developed and implemented across the organisation.
To contribute to a coordinated provision of the full range of Human Resources functions provided by the Department including the consistency and continuity of services.
The council may retain a list of reserve candidates arising from this recruitment campaign, for any vacancies which may arise, which are the same or similar and are of an equal grade of pay. Such a reserve list will be compiled and held for a period of 12 months.
