The Resource Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the human resources function within the organisation. This position is responsible for managing various administrative tasks, ensuring effective communication across departments, and leveraging technology to enhance HR processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management and be proficient in using HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or Taleo.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with team members to facilitate recruitment processes using ATS tools.
Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
Manage social media platforms to promote company culture and job openings.
Assist in onboarding new employees and coordinating training sessions.
Support the HR team with administrative tasks and documentation.
Utilise Salesforce for tracking employee interactions and performance metrics.
Provide insights on HR trends and best practices to enhance departmental efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
Familiarity with HRIS software such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or Taleo is essential.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with social media management for employer branding purposes is advantageous.
Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
