Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Graduate to join our Human Resources team. This entry level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions. The successful candidate will be based at our Tallington site and will have the following responsibilities.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist recruitment team with coordinating and conducting interviews, as required, ensuring equality, fairness, consistency, and transparency
Forge and maintain highly productive working relationships with site operational managers, supervisors and team leaders so that you become the first point of contact for all generalist, people related, issues arising daily
Support employee onboarding and orientation activities
Assist with the administration of payroll and processing new employees
Help organise training and development programs
Conduct research and prepare reports on HR metrics and best practices
Participate in employee engagement initiatives and company events
Provide general HR administrative support to HR team
Coordinate quarterly reviews for all weekly paid employees across all sites
Update and maintain employee records via the HR system
Contribute to Works & Safety Committee meetings across all sites
Contribute to Health & Well Being Committee, as required
Monitor timekeeping, attendance and performance records and facilitate investigatory and disciplinary and grievance procedures, as appropriate
Associated Responsibilities:
Conduct research on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support HR initiatives
Prepare reports and figures for the Tallington site daily
Other duties as deemed necessary by the Human Resources Business Partner
Experience and Training:
Experience in the full MS Office suite
Experience of developing and maintaining productive working relationships at all levels of an organisation
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to be flexible and to travel between sites, as required
CIPD Associate Membership is desirable
Experience with an ERP or HR systems is desirable
Essential Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a HR, Business Administration or equivalent
