Operational HSE AdvisorBlackburnPermanentxc2xa335-47k + benefits + professional developmentWe are working with a globally renowned Nuclear organization to recruit 2 Operational HSE Advisors. Operating in a number of global territories my client is pursuing a mission towards lower emissions power infrastructure and working on a number of interesting engineering and build projects in the nuclear and renewables sectors. There are substantial growth plans in place for 2025 and 2026 leading to further and future HSE hires.Reporting into the divisional HSE Manager these key HSE Advisor roles will focus on a number of varied projects, key customers and a range of contracts. The business is gradually transitioning to a project delivery methodology as well as taking on new projects with bespoke deliverables so every day is different with new challenges.Duties range from:

• carrying out HSEQ audits
• HSE training
• working closely with BU staff to co-ordinate the HSE approach
• promoting best Health & Safety culture and practise
• providing HSE advice and insight for new bids
• tracking monthly HSEQ metrics
• assisting around HSE incidents and investigations

You will also liaise with the Project delivery teams on a regular basis providing guidance around HSE matters.The Operational HSE Advisor will have:

• At least 2-3 years HSE experience
• Experience in a medium-high risk sector (manufacturing, industrial, power, construction, rail etc)
• TechIOSH or GradIOSH
• IT proficient
• Internal Auditor qualifications (either ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
• NEBOSH Certificate (with a desire to progress to Diploma)
• Be able to travel to a handful of key project sites
• An interest in HSE management systems and how they can be improved and remodelled
