The Electoral Commission is the independent body which oversees elections and regulates political finance in the UK. We\xe2\x80\x99re here to ensure the UK\xe2\x80\x99s elections are well-run and the public have confidence in democratic processes.
We are looking for a HR Support Officer to join our small HR team completing all round generalist duties.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and hardworking individual to support with HR administration. You will be joining a friendly and established team who are all working towards the united goal of providing the business with best in practice processes and systems for their people.
This is a varied role with exposure across a broad variety of teams and stakeholders, for which you will be a key liaison. You will be keen to take full ownership of the role and hit the ground running; we have some exciting on-going projects and initiatives alongside the day-to-day HR activity.
This opportunity would suit someone who is highly organised, a proficient user of Microsoft Office and has an interest in gaining broad experience in HR.
Role requirements
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the recruitment and selection processes, updating tracking, monitoring applications and pre-employment checks. Acting appropriately as a representative of the business in order to provide an excellent candidate experience.
Supporting our learning and development offering by providing excellent administrative support from the development through to the delivery of training. Organising and scheduling training, responding to queries and preparation of materials.
Take on responsibility for managing HR information whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. General administrative support to the HR team in a range of areas such as onboarding and induction, data input into our HR System, payroll, benefit administration, leavers processes and job evaluation processes.
Work closely and flexibly with the HR Team and provide excellent customer service to our internal and external stakeholders
