We are currently seeking a talented and professional Human Resources (HR) specialist to join our team and manage all HR procedures and processes. The successful candidate will be passionate about operational excellence, as well as supporting, and evolving employees through their lifecycle. Main responsibilities will include reporting and data analytics to support the wider business on understanding key people metric. You will also be involved in supporting compensation and benefits cycles, reward approaches, answering employee queries, maintaining employee records as well as building scalable processes and training those processes in our business to support our people\'s activities. To excel in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, be an expert in data manipulation and analysis (Excel/Google sheets), with in-depth knowledge of HR practices and UK legislation. Knowledge of US labour markets would be advantageous. Agility and the ability to handle multiple tasks is key to success in this role. Attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical to your success and, in order to deliver excellence via the People function. Responsibilities

  • Identify improvements and efficiency gains for People Processes
  • Develop and train on these new and improved processes to ensure that the company apply and adopt of policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions
  • Contributing to the development of people management systems and pro-actively lead on automation of transactional activities
  • Providing regular data packs for the business and be able to analyse the data to provide good insight and focus areas
  • Responsible for data cleansing runs in line with GDPR and other regulatory guidance
  • Actively supporting in annual pay cycles including salary benchmarking research and review of current salary bandings
  • Making sure the data on the HRI systems is correct and updated regularly
  • Owning regular internal data audits with emphasis on data accuracy and consistency across all systems
  • Making sure the People data and files are compliant with any security standards at Resolver is part of
  • Owning the Right to Work checks (including the Home Office Visa system) and making sure the business is fully compliant
  • Managing payroll runs including data input and review
  • Developments and processing of key people metrics
  • Responding to employees queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner while making process changes in line with key themes
  • Making sure all People processes and procedures are documented and updated as needed
  • Owning People Knowledge Hub page which includes regular updates and enhancing user experience by gathering feedback and making sure all information on employee lifecycle is included
  • Interpreting and applying rules and regulations, and advising people team, staff and managers accordingly including the drafting of information notes and Knowledge Hub content
  • Regular management of employee cases which includes responding to people queries
  • Working across the business on presentations such as induction and making sure it is kept up to date and relevant
  • Managing and supporting procedures related to staff working conditions, time management, leave and absences
  • Support on the Administration and management of benefits including health and insurance policies
  • Support in integration process between Resolver and Kroll, including providing data and other information required
  • Any other duties, including administrative, according to business needs

Requirements


Essential Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and payroll processes.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and team management abilities.
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) or working towards
  • Advanced Excel / Google sheets and analytical skills
  • Good attention to detail, analytical acumen, and business process knowledge
  • Knowledge of good practice/procedures regarding compliance with data protection legislation would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders up to senior /board level
  • Strategic thinker, analytical, detail and results-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an environment with a degree of ambiguity
  • Results driven
  • Have the versatility and mindset to embrace change
