Telford Copper & Stainless Cylinders Limited is a family-owned manufacturing facility of hot water storage tanks. We operate across two sites and deliver our products across the UK and Ireland.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources and Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of our HR practices and processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment, development, and retention of talent while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency.
We use Sage payroll for the processing of a weekly (c110 staff) and monthly (c50 staff) payrolls. Submission of pension information and production of relevant reports.
Duties will include:
Completion of weekly payroll from timesheets
Completion of monthly salaried payroll
Submission of RTI reports - FPS and EPS submissions
Ensure accurate processing of statutory payments including SSP, SMP, PAYE and NIC
Submission of pension reports
Processing adjustments on the above payroll's as required
Resolution of pay queries and general administrative payroll duties
Management of back to work forms - working with managers and controlling Bradford Factor
Setting up and sitting in on disciplinary meetings to take notes
Management of the appraisal system and ensuring all appraisals are completed
Management of time and attendance system ensuring all shift patterns are correct and times are accurately reflected in the system
Supporting in the recruitment process - liaising with agencies, indeed/linked in adverts
Production of offer letters and contracts
Monitoring and inputting of holiday requests (shop floor and office staff)
Liaising with our external HR advisors as and when required
General ad hoc requirements and projects
The successful individual will complete the above tasks on a daily basis with support from the Finance Director where required.
It is key for the individual to have a solid payroll knowledge (SAGE), CIPD level 3 and up to date requirements of laws and regulations. It is advantageous to have worked in a manufacturing industry previously.
Days and hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with 1 hour's lunch
