The client is a world leading Retail organisation who are currently looking for a HR Officer to be based in their Milton Keynes office, due to an internal promotion. This is an ideal position for anyone who has had a few years experience within HR, ideally with experience in Employee Relations, looking for a new challenge. It could also be ideal for an experienced HR candidate who is looking for a stable HR Generalist role. Please note a DBS check will be required before starting in this position.
As a HR Officer your key responsibilities will be:
Assist with the employee lifecycle including onboarding of new starters, probations, employee relations, leavers, payroll
Advising on policies and procedures
Assist the HR Manager with employee relations cases, mainly absence management
Assist with recruitment
Assist with HR Administration
HR project work as and when required
Advise managers on lower level Employee Relations cases and oversee process
Ad hoc HR duties
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
Have 1-3 years\' HR experience
Live locally to Milton Keynes and able to be office based full time
Be confident and an excellent communicator
Be able to work well independently and within a team
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Be ideally CIPD qualified or working towards (sponsorship may be available for the right candidate)
