Based at our head Office on Doddington Road in Lincoln, we are looking for an experienced HR Officer to support the executive team in delivering exceptional HR resources to staff across all group companies, preferably with at least 2 years' experience.
Your role
The role is varied and includes, but is not limited to:
Dealing with recruitment, including diary management of the executive team.
Ensuring relevant Right to Work checks are conducted for all new employees.
Preparing offer letters, Contracts of Employment and onboarding paperwork for new starters
Inputting and updating of staff data on our electronic system.
Scanning and filing of all employee paperwork, ensuring physical and electronic employee files are kept up to date.
Advising management of time sensitive employee reviews.
Minuting meetings for all Group management.
Supporting management with HR procedure and policy advice.
Keeping accurate records of all HR matters to report to the Board of Directors.
Adhering to all HR and Payroll policies. Ensuring you are up to date with any legislation updates.
Dealing with ad hoc employee requests, HR queries, references and directing payroll queries to the right person or department.
Supporting the Payroll Team in collating all monthly pay related information with absence/exception reports
Job Requirements
Experience from within an HR environment is essential.
Previous experience of taking meeting minutes.
You will work well under pressure, be organised and able to prioritize a high workload.
You will be able to deal with people at all levels.
You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
You will be accurate, thorough and have excellent PC skills.
You will be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
CIPD accreditation is preferred, but not essential.
Benefits
Basic salary of 32,000-35,000 p.a. depending on experience
Hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with a 60-minute daily break
28 days annual leave (inc. statutory bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
