Our client is a Professional Services Company with based near Bingham in Nottingham. They have a newly created role for a Human Resource Manager which can be full or part time and also offers some WFH if desired.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The business is expanding their services and are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team and have a newly launched service line dedicated to providing a top notch Human Resources (HR) solutions to their clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to take their career to the next stage. This is an opportunity to shape and define the delivery of their new service line. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering HR services to their clients, as well as maintaining the firm\xe2\x80\x99s internal HR compliance.
You will be providing high quality advice to a portfolio of UK companies and overseas businesses.
Reporting directly to the Director leading the new team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll spend most of your time delivering HR solutions to our clients.
We provide HR services such as:
\xc2\xb7Preparation of contracts of employment
\xc2\xb7Drafting comprehensive and compliant employee / staff handbooks for clients, reflecting up to date
\xc2\xb7HR best practices
\xc2\xb7Drafting family policies handbooks for clients
\xc2\xb7Providing guidance and advice on suitable GDPR policies
\xc2\xb7Carry out \xe2\x80\x9cright to work\xe2\x80\x9d checks for clients
\xc2\xb7Conducting reference checks for clients
\xc2\xb7Guiding clients through challenging staff situations, providing effective solutions and advice
\xc2\xb7Responding to ad hoc HR related queries from clients
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing and developing a team, providing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Staying up to date with relevant legislation and sharing knowledge with the team
Participating in business developments activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings
ABOUT YOU
Requirements
Proven experience in HR roles; previous experience in HR consultancy would be a plus
Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
Other skills and abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Proven ability to manage a team and develop their skills and knowledge
Happy juggling multiple tasks and working to deadlines
Ability to identify issues and find solutions
