The Malloy Aeronautics Team:



Malloy Aeronautics Limited specializes in the development of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for both civilian and military uses. Located in Berkshire, our operations are notable for their focus on in-house design and manufacturing. This vertical integration means we control the production of most aircraft components on-site, enhancing our ability to innovate and maintain high standards across all stages of development.

About The Role:



This role presents the opportunity for a generalist HR Manager to work as part of the Malloy Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and help shape the organisational strategy for a rapidly developing business. You will play a pivotal part in defining the HR agenda and supporting its delivery to enable the wider business strategy. The role involves operationalising, integrating, and executing HR processes, projects, and change activities.

You can expect to be working in collaboration with BAE Systems (Group) HR and the appropriate Centres of Expertise to maximise HR opportunities, and work in partnership with other BAE Systems acquired entities to ensure consistency and efficiency both in businesses and HR processes.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career within BAE Systems due to exposure gained across multiple business areas.

Ability to hold Security Clearance - 5 years residence in the UK



What you'll being doing (but not limited too):



Management of a small HR Team; a HR Associate and Lead Recruiter

Supporting People Managers in planning and implementing the People and Organisation Plan for Malloy Aeronautics

Providing operational advice on a range of employment and performance issues and business change based on business needs

Enabling people manager capability uplift, facilitating/supporting/coaching the manager in execution of people initiatives where necessary

Reviewing business related people data to identify potential implications within the business context and environment and initiate local actions to resolve these as appropriate

Enabling functional strength and resource resilience via support to talent, strategic workforce planning and organisational effectiveness activity

Supporting post-acquisition activity from an integration or due diligence follow up perspective

Providing HR expertise, techniques and skills in line with both Malloy and Group policies and procedures, and able to adapt appropriately

Influencing and coaching line managers and employees in line with people management practices and business priorities

Working with the business to identify a seamless and effective recruitment operation

Developing and implementing an effective Reward and Performance approach including the development of the current Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to support attraction and retention of employees

Operating as Secretary for the Remuneration Committee (REMCO), leading on information provision to enable board approval for reward philosophy and implementation

Developing and implementation of new and developing HR Policies

Acting as Data Protection Lead for Malloy Aeronautics

Essential Skills and Experiences:



Proven experience as HR generalist across a range of people processes including Reward, Performance, Attendance and Organisational Design and Development

Experience of People Management

Knowledgeable in UK employment legislation

Experience of operating in an international organisation would be desirable

Experience of project management

Ability to explain difficult and sensitive people subject matter to line managers, providing advice, guidance coaching and direction investigating and resolving complex people issues

Strong stakeholder management experience coupled with influencing skills
