About Our Client
A leading edge technical engineering business based in Hull.
The HR Manager will play an integral part in supporting this growing business at an exciting time in their evolution. Reporting into the People Director, you will:
Support management colleagues with identifying and assessing recruitment requirements including the identification of internal succession planning.
Proactively manage the recruitment and hiring process.
Ensure that the Company\'s onboarding and induction are proactively managed to ensure a positive employee experience.
Ensure that the Company\'s Competency Frameworks are continually up to date and that employee competencies align with those required within the job.
Support line managers with ensuring an effective utilisation of the Company\'s performance and development management system.
Support line managers in the development of training needs analysis and identification and organisation of training and development needs for their respective teams.
Prepare monthly reports covering key data such as employee headcount, staff turnover, staff absence, demographic ratios.
Support and encourage a positive employee relations and staff engagement culture by ensuring that managers are aware of and consistently utilise People Management policies and procedures.
Actively monitor, promote and apply Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies and practices in all dealings with managers and staff.
Actively monitor, promote and apply employee health and wellbeing policies.
Review and develop local action plans arising from data presented from activities such as staff engagement surveys and exit interviews.
Undertake and manage special people focussed projects and initiatives.
Conduct regular salary and benefits benchmarking activity to ensure that the Company maintains a competitive reward and benefits package that attracts and retains talent.
Manage the company\'s employee programmes, staff benefits and packages.
Undertake and manage special projects and initiatives alongside the People Director.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, the HR Manager will need to be/have:
Extensive proven experience at HR Manager or HR Business Partner level.
Ideally experience in a similar engineering or technical services sector.
Experience of working in both change oriented, growth and \'steady state\' environments.
CIPD level 5 as a minimum, preferrably level 7.
Great communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
