We have a current opportunity for a HR Manager working for a leading private equity firm on a permanent basis.
The position will be based in their London office four days per week.
Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. As an HR Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting our employees, and driving HR initiatives to ensure the organization\xe2\x80\x99s success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset to align HR practices with the company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations: Build and maintain strong employee relationships, serving as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, conflicts, and grievances. Ensure fair treatment and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Oversee the hiring process, conduct interviews, and collaborate with department heads to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Performance Management: Design and implement performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers on setting goals and conducting reviews. Work with underperforming employees to develop improvement plans.
Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate learning programs, and conduct workshops to enhance employees\xe2\x80\x99 skills and knowledge, promoting professional growth and career development.
HR Policies and Procedures: Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and industry best practices.
Compensation and Benefits: Support the Head of Reward with the company\xe2\x80\x99s compensation and benefits programs, conducting salary reviews, and benchmarking to remain competitive in the market.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Compile and analyse HR data to track key performance indicators, presenting actionable insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
Employee Engagement: Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, focus groups, and events, to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Compliance: Ensure HR practices align with legal requirements and ethical standards, staying up-to-date with labour laws and industry regulations.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and disputes, fostering a collaborative and harmonious work environment.
Termination and Offboarding: Handle employee terminations and offboarding processes with sensitivity and adherence to legal requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is a plus.
Proven experience of at least 5 years in HR management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within financial services or professional services.
Thorough knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR information.
