We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will ensure that the organisation is compliant with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture. The Human Resources Manager will also play a key role in managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and training initiatives.
Duties
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
Supervise and support HR staff in their daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data management.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends in employee performance, turnover rates, and other HR metrics.
Facilitate employee onboarding and training programmes to enhance workforce capabilities.
Address employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations while promoting best practices within the organisation.
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role within a dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems; experience with PeopleSoft is advantageous.
Proficiency in using relevant software.
Excellent data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics and inform decision-making.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while supervising a team effectively.
A solid understanding of employment laws and regulations within the UK context.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or related fields are desirable.
