HR Generalist (Maternity Cover - 9 months) - South Tyneside - up to 26k

I\'m working with one of my clients who\'re an energy company based in South Tyneside As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions and initiatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a point of contact for employees\' questions, concerns, and HR-related matters. Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

• Support the performance appraisal process by providing guidance to managers, tracking performance review timelines, and assisting in the development of performance improvement plans.

• Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Plan and coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and other activities that promote a positive and inclusive work culture.

• Proven experience as a HR Generalist

• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
