The Role:
As a HR Coordinator with South Staffordshire Plc, you would provide specialist HR support across all business area's that fall under South Staffordshire Plc umbrella. Handling Tier 1 & 2 services for the wider HR team such as disciplinary & grievance administration, flexible work requests and family friendly workflows.
Critical Performance Objectives
Be the first point of contact for HR related matters and queries for both management and employees.
Creating a seamless onboarding experience for successful candidates. From preparing employment contracts to adding new starts to the HRIS.
Ensuring the effective delivery of our family friendly & flexible working policies. Working closely with managers to process requests and workflows. Overseeing a smooth and effective process to ensure employees, managers & payroll are kept up to date on entitlements and key dates, escalating any concerns to HR Advisors.
Providing high quality administrative support to HR Advisors with Tier 1 & 2 employee relations issues. Managing letter correspondence, paperwork & note taking for absence management, investigations, grievances and disciplinaries.
Provide meaningful exit interview data to business areas, helping leaders understand themes behind resignations and suggest opportunities for improving employee retention.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

To ensure adherence with all compliance standards and always operate with integrity
Ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience by managing employee queries and processes with professionalism and empathy. Investigating and resolving HR issues in collaboration with the HR Advisors, escalating issues where necessary in a timely manner.
Creating accurate employment contracts for successful candidates and overseeing the overall onboarding experience. Guaranteeing compliance with regards to Right to Work checks as well as querying when terms and conditions offer details are not in line with grading standards.
Managing family friendly requests from start to finish. Guiding both managers and employees through policies and process, providing appropriate letter correspondence, completing system & payroll updates, and overseeing seamless return to work experiences, escalating any concerns to HR Advisor.
Managing flexible work requests from start to finish. Guiding both managers and employees through policies and process, providing appropriate letter correspondence and completing system & payroll updates. Passing on any escalations or appeals to HR Advisors.
Drafting accurate and clear letter correspondence to employees in relation to invites to grievance/investigation/disciplinary meetings, disciplinary outcome letters and absence trigger letters.
Supporting managers with probation extensions and/or probation fail procedures and paperwork.
Attending and notetaking in ER cases as required.
Collect, collate & analyse exit interview data for HR Advisors, to provide meaningful reports that allow leaders to understand opportunities for improvement.
Maintaining organisational effectiveness with regards to employee paper files, including storage, destruction & archiving. Guaranteeing compliance with regards to GDPR(UK).
Staying updated on HR best practices, employment law changes, and industry trends to ensure compliance and improve service quality.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in HR policies, processes and systems to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Creating & maintaining people policies and procedures.
Participating in HR projects and initiatives as required to support strategic objectives.
