Job Description

We're looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in the South West of the UK .

Location

: South West UK, hybrid working available, with travel to offices and sites as required

Hours

: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, Business Partnering the respective Kier Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks management team members (specifically Natural Resources and Networks in the South West region in this role) with a strong focus on providing an innovative, effective and customer focused service.





Your day to day will include:


Support the Head of HR with managing the implementation of a commercially focused, legally compliant, people plan in line with the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business strategy Partner with the Operational and Functional leaders and operate as a credible and trusted partner, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help each business area to deliver its strategy Co-ordinate and manage all Employee Relations activity within designated areas of responsibility, and coach managers through processes, as required. Work collaboratively with our Talent & Acquisition partners and Managers to develop a hiring strategy and make the required changes to continuously drive improvements

Degree qualified (or qualified by experience), high potential HR professional with experience of business partnering in medium/large organisations Experience of working within an Alliance or JV environment is desirable Good understanding of talent management and succession planning, leadership and management development, to support individual and business growth Well-developed employee engagement and employee relations skills with up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
