What Matters in this Role?


As an HRBP for the Digital unit, you will be instrumental in enabling the transformation journey. Working closely with Directors, you\'ll drive the people strategy, facilitate organizational change, and champion diversity and inclusion. Your role extends to shaping the culture, enhancing team effectiveness, and contributing to resourcing and reward decisions. The Digital HR team is a key player in accelerating BT\'s digital growth, and you\'ll be at the heart of this transformation.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic People Leadership: Provide strategic HR direction to Directors, aligning with convergence ambitions.
  • Change Management: Implement organizational design changes and manage change effectively for colleagues.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Foster a diverse and unified organization, emphasizing the Employee Experience and championing BT\xe2\x80\x99s values.
  • Culture and Team Effectiveness: Develop high-performing and engaged teams in collaboration with directors.
  • Resourcing & Reward: Provide business insight for recruitment plans and support a flexible resourcing mix and reward model.
  • HR Effectiveness: Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver the people plan and strategy, focusing on development and upskilling.
  • Talent Development: Work with directors to develop talent plans and effective succession plans for key roles.



Skills and Experience:

  • Commercial Thinker: Analytical skills, commercial awareness, and ability to interpret data for insight-led decisions.
  • Relationship Builder: Form strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, driving cultural change collaboratively.
  • Customer Champion: Place excellent customer solutions at the heart of the organization, applying a customer-centric lens to every interaction.
  • Change Agent: Proven track record of making change happen in a complex environment, with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Effective Communicator: Handle complex situations with thought and confidence, adapting communication style to manage diverse stakeholders.



Experience You Bring:

  • Strong HR knowledge with an understanding of Digital business units.
  • Change management, people transformation, and cultural change experience.
  • Comfortable owning a complex resourcing mix and associated financials.
  • Experience and passion for agile ways of working.
