The position

We have an exciting HR Assistant opportunity within our People and Organisation (P&O Team) where you will support the P&O team across a diverse range of HR activities helping to shape and influence the employee experience.
As well as supporting the Senior Director and the wider team with a wide array of people-related activities and projects, including organising team meetings, employee engagement initiatives, employee communications and wellbeing activities, you will also: You'll play a key role in creating an engaging onboarding and induction experience for our new employees, including running induction sessions, helping them navigate various HR systems and ensuring all new starter paperwork, such as right to work checks, have been completed.
Get involved in and support the team with annual processes such as flexible benefits selection, ensuring that the process is seamlessly managed and all employee queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Own and manage e-Procurement and contract management processes, including raising and managing purchase orders, setting up vendors on our systems, creating and issuing contracts all the time ensuring strict adherence to our company's protocols.
Support the team with day to day HR operations including updating policies and maintaining employee records/trackers, generating reports as needed to ensure data accuracy and full compliance.
Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and assisting with any employee relations matters in collaboration with the Employee Relations Specialist.
Proactively work with the HR Service Centre in Poland to ensure all outsourced HR activities, process and service improvements are effectively managed. Act as the first point of contact for the team helping to resolve any issues or problems.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we you will need to have:
Strong administrative experience with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
Previous HR experience in a similar role. CIPD qualification is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
Experience with HR systems (ideally SuccessFactors) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively resolve issues as they arise.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
Meticulous attention to detail, especially on data accuracy and knowledge of GDPR rules.
Be a strong, collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
About the department
Join our dynamic team under the leadership of the Senior Director, People & Organisation. The team comprises three HR Business Partners, L&D Manager, Senior P&O specialist and a specialist in Employee Relations.
