We are seeking a proactive and organised HR and Recruitment Coordinator to cover a maternity leave period. This position is fixed term for 12-18 months, full time and operates on a day shift.

As part of our small, friendly and busy HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function with our recruitment and HR processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our employees at managers.
Your main responsibilities will include;
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the HR department, directing queries as appropriate to the relevant team member and effectively trouble shooting where possible.
Manage the HR mailbox triaging queries.
Manage the recruitment of temporary workers liaising with agencies and hiring managers, organising pre-employment medicals and inductions.
Supporting with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases.
Responding to employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Supporting with weekly and monthly reports.
Coordinate the processes in relation to sickness absence, family leave requests and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed.
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent relevant experience
Professional, approachable, and consistent
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently
Process driven with an aptitude for complex processes
Excellent IT systems skills
Exceptional communication skills, applying diplomacy where needed
Sensitivity to general HR situations
Ability to act on own initiative, but also to know when to seek advice
Ability to interact with varying levels of employees and manager and adapt style accordingly
