We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim\xe2\x80\x99s Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim\xe2\x80\x99s UK & Pilgrim\xe2\x80\x99s Food Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.

As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.

As part of our growing team, we are recruiting a HR Advisor role reporting to the HR Advisor Team Leader.

Purpose of Role:

To provide a professional, proactive, expert HR advisory service at all levels across the business. To always support the provision of day-to-day HR case management of serious / complex employment issues whilst considering the commercial constraints of the business and the legal framework with a view to delivering the best outcomes for both the business and colleague
You will manage a portfolio of cases including conduct, absence, capability, grievances and disciplinaries.

Responsibilities:
  • End to end management of all casework, including reviewing and preparing letters/ documents in readiness for and after formal hearings and providing feedback to Managers where required
  • Ensure an efficient and professional service is delivered in line with company policies and within set SLAs
  • Ensure all case management details are recorded accurately on the Case Management System and that cases are managed pro-actively and driven through to conclusion
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations consulting/guidance and or coaching for People Managers, covering all areas of the employee lifecycle including but not limited to: performance, disciplinary, grievances, absence including return to work and Occupational Health, Working Time Directive monitoring, restructuring, consultations etc
  • Provide a commercial, efficient, professional and customer focused Employee Relations service to your stakeholders
  • Assess and communicate any risks and/or costs to the business in relations to Employee Relations issues
  • Work closely with the HR Advisor Team Leader and site HR Business Partners to develop and implement HR initiatives, policies and processes ensuring a progressive, proactive and professional HR service is delivered
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships within across the shared service and within the business unit
  • Support the ongoing review and alignment of employment policies and manager toolkits

What You\'ll Need

  • Experience of working in a HR environment in a similar role
  • HR qualification \xe2\x80\x93 Cipd level 5 or working towards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Track record of managing a range of HR cases, working to tight deadlines and managing time effectively
  • Confident communicator \xe2\x80\x93 written & verbal
