About Our Client

My client is a leading Healthcare organisation, based in Lichfield, seeking a HR Advisor to transform their HR provision on a permanent basis.

As HR Advisor, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Being the main point of contact for the portfolios you are allocated
  • Providing HR advice to Managers on all aspects of HR
  • Leading on complex ER issues including attending formal meetings and hearings where necessary, taking minutes, writing outcome letters etc.
  • Acting as an escalation point to Junior and HR Advisors, providing supportive advice and guidance where needed
  • Attending senior management meetings where requested
  • Collating management data information for any MD/Operations meetings you attend and providing HR updates as necessary
  • Line managing a small team of three, carrying out supervisions and appraisals when required
  • Carrying out regular case reviews with your team to ensure you are aware of cases and that cases are moving through as efficiently as possible and suspensions are kept to a minimum, assisting with queries when needed
  • Leading on and attending case catch ups with MDs
  • Overseeing the management of the Cluster inbox ensuring all emails are allocated appropriately
  • Leading on ACAS early conciliation\'s as they come in and work with the legal team and any external legal advisors on any tribunal cases within your portfolios
  • Checking your teams dismissal and higher risk outcome letters
  • Involvement in HR projects as requested
  • Helping to create, develop and review company policies and procedures, supporting guidance and training resources which comply with legislation and reflect good practice

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Advisor will have:
  • HR generalist experience
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders on HR issues
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience handling complex ER matters
  • Line management experience is advantageous
