We are delighted to continue working with our established & respected client to recruit a
HR Advisor
to join their Human Resources team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and capable HR professional to contribute to a dynamic and supportive HR department. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and supporting staff and managers across a range of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing timely and accurate HR advice to staff and line managers
Supporting employee relations matters including absence management, performance issues, investigations, grievances, and disciplinary hearings
Generating reports and analysing HR data to inform decision-making
Managing staff probation processes and contractor safeguarding checks
Ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment legislation
Responding to general HR queries and maintaining up-to-date employee records via a HRIS
Assisting with letters and HR documentation
Hours:
Full-time (Monday to Friday) - Part-time hours & flexible working will be considered. This role does not offer hybrid working.
About You:
We are looking for either an experienced HR professional with a solid understanding of employment law and best practice, or perhaps someone who is a HR officer, looking to gain HR advisory experience in a dedicated team. You'll need previous HR experience, handling a wide range of HR related matters and ideally have previous experience supporting hearings, or dealing with sickness, absence and safeguarding matters.
