New Bridge Multi-Academy Trust is a vibrant, aspirational and inclusive multi-academy trust of six special schools and with two specialist post-16 provisions across Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale. All of the children and young people have an EHCP with the settings supporting a wide spectrum of needs from age 4-19 and beyond. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Adviser to join our new central team. Working under the supervision of a Senior HR Adviser the successful person will supplement the central team in providing HR advice on the full range of HR matters and undertaking a full case-management load.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of providing a professional advisory service. This includes experience of leading and dealing with formal absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases. Candidates must also have a sound understanding of employment law in the context of an HR Adviser role so as to be able to provide the correct advice to school leaders and staff. Knowledge of NJC and School Teachers conditions of service would be an advantage but not essential.
The post will be based at the Spring Brook Upper school site on Dean Street in Failsworth although the case management work will necessitate travelling to our school and college sites which are situated within Oldham and Tameside. Therefore, own car is essential.
