We are seeking two HR Administrators, who will be based at the Department\'s central Cambridge site, to provide a comprehensive HR and administrative support service to the teams in the Department\'s two HR Offices. One role will be based in the HR Office dealing with Academic and Support Staff and the other in the HR Office dealing with Research Staff and Visitors. Each office has a small HR team lead by an HR Manager and you be part of one of these teams. The role within the HR Office (Academic & Support Staff) is a permanent position and the role within the HR Office (Research Staff & Visitors) is an 18-month fixed term contract in the first instance. Both HR Offices support the operations of the Department by promoting good HR practice and employee relations, aligned to University policies and procedures, as well as the effective delivery of HR administrative processes. The teams in these two offices provide an accessible and authoritative point of contact for all staff issues relating to the staff groups they handle. The successful candidates will be educated to at least A Level standard and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements for these roles, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Previous administrative experience, preferably within an HR environment, is required and experience of using University of Cambridge administrative processes would be desirable.
