About the Role

As an HR Administrator, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of our People Services function working to provide an efficient and professional service to employees across the UK and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the HR Administration Team, based in the UK and across the region, providing advice and guidance to employees and managers, and completing transactional HR activities and electronic filing using our HR systems.

This role sits within the wider People Services function and you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with our colleagues in Payroll, Recruitment, Data, and Systems Support. This is a varied role and you\xe2\x80\x99ll enjoy working on a wide range of queries to high standards of accuracy and confidentiality, while delivering excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced environment so you will have experience of working to tight deadlines and be able to appropriately prioritize activities and tasks.

Key activities:

  • New joiner administration, such as right to work checks, vetting or reference checks
  • Contractor administration, including managing new requests and extensions, and completion of relevant paperwork
  • Process changes to employee records to meet key deadlines for payrolls and maintain the accuracy of employee data
  • Prepare HR documentation accurately, using approved templates, and ensuring documentation is filed correct and within SLAs
  • Signpost and respond to queries about benefits
  • Respond to colleague queries, triaging and prioritizing, ensuring communication is clear, consistent and delivered in a timely manner
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

Essential:
  • Strong administration skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with sensitive personal data and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures, highlighting areas for improvement
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable:
  • Experience of working in an HR team
  • Experience of working with HR Information Systems
  • Familiarity with data protection legislation
