The Group consists of three divisions VetPlus \xe2\x80\x93 a global leader in companion animal \xf0\x9f\x90\xb6 nutraceuticals, Agri Lloyd, an agriculture \xf0\x9f\x90\x84 focused unit and Mill Farm Sports Village a multi-purpose leisure complex incorporating a fully owned football club\xe2\x9a\xbd with associated facilities.

About the role

Are you our Next Tangerine Bistro Chef?

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for additional Chef to join the team!

Tangerine Bistro is our HQ dining facility for employees and visitors.

Tangerine Bistro is run on a \xe2\x80\x9cpay as you go\xe2\x80\x9d basis. As The Tangerine Bistro Chef, you will be required to provide meals and drinks (for approximately 60 people per day)

keeping in line with agreed budgets and menus. You will also be responsible for ordering and receipt of ingredients and menu planning.

However, this won\xe2\x80\x99t be your only duties, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have full creative input into designing; healthy, exciting and tasty meal options.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Hours of work: 7.30am \xe2\x80\x93 4.00 pm Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday
  • Provide breakfast 7.30am -8.00am and 10.00am \xe2\x80\x93 10.30am
  • Provide lunch (two hot choices & one cold choice plus sandwiches) between 12.00 noon and 2.00pm Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday
  • Ordering of food from selected suppliers
  • Weekly menu planning
You will also:
  • Ensure there is enough food and choices on offer throughout both meal services.
  • Ensure all mis-en-place, including breakfast, is in place and surfaces are kept clean and tidy
  • Take ownership for fresh food and dry store orders on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that all food on offer looks appealing and is appropriately garnished.
  • Ensure all food is labelled and allergen information is displayed and correct.
  • Work together with the cleaning team to maintain the cleanliness of the Bistro at all times, this includes floors, walls, tables, chairs, service counters, drinks machines, cutlery, crockery and emptying the bins.
  • Ensure that your workspace and equipment is kept clean and sanitised at all times.
  • Ensure Bistro areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards
  • Ensure standards are constantly monitored and action taken to ensure compliance
  • Promote the Tangerine Bistro as a relaxing and friendly place to visit and eat
  • Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations
