About Our Team

This is an exciting time to join our busy housing partnership team because we have just completed a transformation of our customer partnership services to a new operating model with a focussed office and field-based housing partnership function.

With a dynamic digital offering we can work efficiently in the field delivering a consistently high standard of housing and tenancy management service prioritising our customer, their home and community.

With a large number of properties covering a vast geography across the south and southwest we have developed 4 field-based housing partnership teams creating a real local feel to our services, each covering a zone which you can see from the map in the available documents. Each team has 8-11 members plus a Housing Partnership Manager. This vacancy is in the Orchard team covering a patch of properties in Bristol.

1 x housing partner (field) predominantly covering Bristol.

Your New Role

We are looking for experienced housing professionals to join our team and this is a permanent role within zone red covering a patch in the Bristol area.

As a field based housing partner managing a patch of approximately 700 - 800 properties you will spend 70-80% of your time in the field delivering a proactive tenancy and property management service, as well as responding to customer enquiries as appropriate. The closest office is in Yeovil which you will be required to attend for training, team meetings and team collaboration days but we also have an agile working policy so working from home or other locations in between customer appointments is an option.

Your role will be to connect the customer to Abri by carrying out home visits at key stages of the tenancy, ensuring they have the skills, information and support required to succeed. You\'ll have a focus on property condition to make sure it is suitable, safe and being maintained by both the customer and us to a satisfactory standard.

You\'ll have a regular presence in our communities, completing estate and block inspections and will work with other teams and external partners to make sure our neighbourhoods are welcoming, clean, safe and where people want to live.

Applicants must be prepared to travel and provide cover (by exception) across the zones when required. Applicants need to live within a reasonable distance to the zone and patch to be effective in the role.
