We are currently looking for a Housing Officer to join our busy team in Tongwynlais, Cardiff!As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for all aspects of housing management, ensuring the effective delivery of front line office and community-based services. Your role will involve managing rent collection and arrears recovery, overseeing tenant allocations, conducting home visits, performing estate inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour. You will play a key role in tenant consultations and general tenancy and estate management. This position requires a proactive approach to respond to tenant queries regarding rent payments, tenancy enforcement, and housing-related enquiries, while also collaborating with local authorities, police, and other external partners.Hours of Work: 35 Hours / full-time, Temporary until 31 March 2026Salary: xc2xa333,840 to xc2xa335,620 per annumHousing Officer Requirements:

  • Relevant and proven experience within the social housing sector.
  • HNC in Housing Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of estate and tenancy management, housing law, and benefits systems.
  • Excellent IT literacy and time management skills.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
