Position: Housing Officer
Rate: PAYE: \xc2\xa320 per hour / Umbrella PAYE: \xc2\xa324 per hour
Duration: Ongoing

As a Housing Officer reporting directly to an Area Manager, your role will be at the heart of delivering an all-encompassing housing management service for Hammersmith & Fulham Council. You\'ll forge strong connections with tenants, resident groups, community organizations, local representatives, and other stakeholders. In doing so, you\'ll emerge as a central figure known for your professionalism, inclusivity, integrity, and commitment to fairness. Your collaboration with residents will yield innovative initiatives that breathe new life into managed areas and estates. Drawing on your extensive technical expertise, you\'ll adeptly navigate intricate queries and cases, including successions, exchanges, tenancy changes, and breaches. Your unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction will fuel continuous enhancement, while your support for your team will ensure that our performance consistently soars beyond targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties, collaborating with tenants and resident groups to pinpoint projects and ventures that enhance the community and its estates.
- Stand as the primary point of contact for tenants and residents, addressing a comprehensive spectrum of housing-related matters.
- Handle end-to-end casework encompassing tenancy and leasehold properties, including anti-social behavior, mutual exchanges, successions, assignments, tenancy terminations, sign-ups, and new tenancy visits.
- Foster positive relationships with Council teams involved in joint service delivery, such as void management.
- Conduct investigations and take enforcement actions regarding tenancy conditions and fraud when infractions arise.
- Uphold exceptional quality standards and meet performance expectations across financial, policy, procedural, and behavioral domains - communicated through written, verbal, and practical means.
- Ensure the punctual and precise recording of vital data and statistics, enabling meticulous performance tracking against targets.
